Class B Driver/Prep Cook
The Driver- Prep Cook is responsible for driving the food truck and/or produce truck to and from service destinations and special events, working with the Mobile Chef and Store Manager to assist in the preparation and delivery of food to our patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Drive the food truck and/or produce truck to service destinations and special events.
- Work closely with the Mobile Chef to ensure all food is prepared correctly and delivered to our patrons in a timely manner. Handle and prepare food in accordance with all health, safety and hygiene codes and standards.
- Participate in cleaning of all equipment on the food truck and produce truck.
- Assist in stocking the food truck and/or produce truck for daily operations or special events.
- Assist in the Community Kitchen as needed.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions using the POS system.
- Communicate ideas and concerns to the Mobile Chef in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Class B License required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in food service.
- Previous food truck experience a plus.
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification
