Rafter J Industries is a growing civil construction company with a project pipeline valued at over $70 million. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil and Concrete Project Manager to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and concrete construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of the project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve working closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met. You will also be responsible for managing project teams, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that may arise. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction processes and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, and ensure adherence to them.
- Oversee and manage project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all project requirements and specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Prepare and submit project reports and documentation.
- Manage project resources, including materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors and suppliers.
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time.
- Monitor project costs and control expenditures.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and concrete construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
