Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Specialty: Psychiatric Residential Facility
Location: Columbia, MO
Schedule: Full Time, Evenings 3p-11p. Occasional weekends and holidays required
Pay: $25-$28/hour with $2500 Sign on Bonus along with full benefits package
This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)will be responsible for the following duties/may not be limited too:
- Provide routine medical care, Transcribe physician orders to a EMAR, Documenting and communicating needs of the clients served
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with client's team, Monitor medication effectiveness, Administer medications and general first aid
-Provide educational groups for the clients, Safe crisis management qualified
- Sound nursing judgement in emergencies, Participate in medical meetings, Communicate with psychiatrists.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Nursing license in the state of Missouri
- Experience in residential or a mental health setting, preferred
- Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment, Preferred
