Job Title: Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary: KOPA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced care to patients with pulmonary conditions, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with respiratory conditions.
- Develop, implement, and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute pulmonary diseases.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures related to pulmonary health.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families about disease management, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
- Participate in research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in pulmonology.
- Document patient encounters, treatments, and progress accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications: - Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner with specialized training or experience in pulmonology.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pulmonology or related field.
- Strong clinical skills in pulmonary assessment and management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems.
