Currently looking for Occupational Therapist to fill an opening with an Outpatient facility located around the Anchorage, Alaska area. Interested candidates should have both, previous OT experience, and at least, a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, with a passion to work within an outpatient setting while treating pediatrics patients. Interested candidate should also have a valid Alaska OT license, or already have started the process of obtaining it. Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist
- The Occupational Therapist facilitates development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy.
- Evaluates results of occupational therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending and implementing adjustments and modifications.
- Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist
- The Outpatient setting is open to candidates from an accredited Occupational Therapy programs, with at lease one year of experience.
- Active, or pending, Alaska Occupational license
- Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
- Passionate about Pediatric patient care within an Outpatient setting
- Day shifts; Monday - Friday schedule
