Fireside Hearth and Home (FHH) is looking to add a Retail Store Manager that supports the Roseville and Eagan stores.

Position Description This position is accountable to meet or exceed Fireside Hearth & Home retail showroom sales goals by managing sales staff & showroom operations, selling hearth products and taking ownership with a ownership mentality. The position must provide best-in-class consumer buying experiences leading by example, engaging retail store guests, continually keeping the showroom current & clean, and driving location sales to completion.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership
- Oversees assigned retail locations including managing assigned Retail Sales Representatives as direct reports.
- Provide leadership to retail sales members through coaching and mentoring of best practice sales and customer service techniques and through leading by example with active personal sales involvement, including regular 1:1 meetings.
- Partner with Human Resources and Consumer Business Manager to recruit, hire, train, and evaluate assigned members including presenting direct reports at talent reviews.
- Regularly review each sales member order pipeline and follow up.
- Ensure retail members successfully complete required training programs.
- Hold members accountable for their performance and monitor results; following up on a regular basis.
- Partner with Human Resources and Consumer Business Manager to administer member performance evaluations annually and performance improvement plans as needed.
- Attend specific training classes to continue management growth and proficiency.
- Effectively manage member turnover. Provide a positive working environment and handle member issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure member and self-awareness of safety and emergency procedures.
Sales
- Drive and improve all location sales and profits levers - traffic, close rates, unit dollar average (UDA).
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals utilizing dynamic sales skills within the retail sales process.
- Analyze sales data and act to grow revenues and ensure achievement of revenue and profit goals.
- Daily review of the Sales $ and Gross Margin %.
- Customer issues or complaints - resolve by determining optimal solutions.

Operations
- Utilize labor resources to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Create, oversee and approve Store Schedule and member PTO.
- Review and approve retail pricing exceptions.
- Implement merchandising guidelines and plan-o-grams in support of sales and branding initiatives.
- Showroom Integrity - ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to company standards.
- Showroom Product Selections - HHT products.
- Submit showroom display claims.
- Update and maintain Sell Cards.

Experience: - 2+ years successful sales and/or management experience.
- High School Diploma required or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
