Description:
The Branch Manager position is responsible for the daily operations of the branch. This includes permitting and interconnection, scheduling, funding projects, customer service, and coordination with the Foreman, Electrician, and Install Crew. This is a unique role that requires organizational skills and the ability to multitask and solve problems. The right candidate should have a strong attention to detail and have good customer communication skills. This person should be able to take initiative and work through customer service issues to provide an excellent customer experience.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage daily branch operations
- Manage building and electrical permits
- Manage utility interconnection agreements
- Coordinate with HOA's on requirements for solar installations
- Create weekly installation schedule in an effort to hit branch goals
- Schedule building and electrical inspections
- Resolve post install issues with customers and address customer questions and concerns
- Coordinate with foreman, installers and inspectors on post install issues
- Maintain inspector relationships
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Maintain vehicles, equipment and personal protective equipment
- Review projects pre-installation for additional work and special parts
- Review projects post-installation for completion and push projects to funding
- Print Permits and compile install packets
- Coordinate with foreman and supply chain manager for ordering material
- Assist with receiving orders and stocking warehouse
- Maintain office and warehouse cleanliness
- Fill in for other branch roles where needed
- Communicate with the corporate office for support
- Maintain company culture
Requirements:
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience required
- Previous experience in the solar industry, preferred
- Excellent computer skills and experience with customer management software
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of individuals
- Experience with compiling and following budgets and goals
- Critical thinking and problem solving ability
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- High attention to detail and quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude
Compensation details: 90000-120000 Yearly Salary
