SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST SIGNING BONUS UP TO $10,000 Who We Are:- Pacific Coast Speech Services has a 36-year history of providing evidence-based services to schools in the local area of Southern California. Our superior speech pathologists and SLPAs are the backbone of our practice.
- Specific clinicians often continue year-to-year in the same site, as our school district partners recognize the high quality of our clinical expertise. Satisfaction surveys routinely rate our clinicians at 9 or above on a 10-point scale.
- Our clinicians are excited about their profession, dedicated to their educational team, and creative in supporting their students and families.
- We accept a limited number of Clinical Fellows; our supervision is extensive. CFs are supported intentionally by experienced SLPs.
- We're flexible with the number of hours/days worked.
Purpose of the position: The purpose of this position is to assess, diagnose and treat language and speech disorders for children from birth to 22-years-old, including but not limited to, language, voice, fluency, articulation, and pragmatic language.
- 2-3 SLP positions for the Academic Year
- Clinical Fellows welcome; Supervision is double the ASHA/CA licensing standard
- Position near Riverside area, 215/91/60 freeways adjacent
- Positions at elementary and high school settings
- In-Person positions only at this time (no virtual)
Job Group Classification: Pacific Coast Speech Services
Overtime Status: Non Exempt
Salary Range: $52 - $70/Hr
Depending on Experience:
SLP 0-5 Years $52 - $57
SLP 6-10 Years $57 - $63
SLP 10+ Years $63 - $70
Full-Time or Part-Time: Full time is preferred; will consider PT applicants.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:- Complete assessments and evaluations to identify students level of functioning and ability to communicate, including standardized assessments, as part of a triennial review to determine continued eligibility.
- Research resources and methods for the purpose of addressing students' functional goals.
- Develop treatment plans in coordination with the classroom teacher and other interdisciplinary team members in order to ensure educational benefit.
- Instruct and consult with interdisciplinary team members, as well as the family/guardians, to generalize skills taught in the school setting.
- Collect data on student progress; document student activities; prepare reports and/or service logs using data management systems such as SEIS and Paradigm, or other Company required programs.

Minimum Skills or Qualifications:- California Speech Pathologist license (SLP) or eligible for a CA preliminary RPE license; and/or California Speech-Language Services Credential or eligible for a CA preliminary credential.
- Experience in school-based settings preferred; willing to mentor.
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.
- Computer-literate; knowledge of special education computer programs preferred.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving ability and proven accuracy with detailed information.
- Proficient written and verbal English language communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manner.
- Reliability, dependability and flexibility.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:- Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
- Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
- Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
- The noise intensity level is moderate to high
