Description:
Job Title: Lead Water Technician
Reports To: Mitigation Manager
Job Summary: Lead Technicians are responsible for loss evaluation, generating a drying plan, conveying the drying plan to the customer, and executing the drying plan.
What you will do:
- Oversee every job assigned to them
- Manage the assistant technician who is paired with them each day.
- Engage in communication with each customer and/or point of contact for each job.
- Oversee after hours jobs and handle on-call duties.
- Assist in disaster efforts in a weather event.
- Maintain the cleanliness and inventory of the company vehicle assigned
What you bring:
- Dewald Academy of Drying required
- Industry experience is a must
- Strong understanding of the mitigation process and equipment functionality.
- Must be punctual, motivated, display initiative, be reliable, and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
- Dewald Academy of Drying certificate and IICRC accreditation required
- No licenses required
Physical abilities:
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up 80 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours.
- Must be able to sit for at least 6 hours (remember that we can get adjustable desks for many people if needed).
- Must be able to work in outdoor conditions.
- Must be able to work in indoor non-airconditioned conditions.
- Must be able to work in a full-face respirator.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces (such as crawlspaces, attics, etc.)
- Must be able to work in a particulate mask (like N-95).
- Must be able to wear safety glasses or face shield.
- Must be able to work in and around sewage.
- Must be able to work around microbial growth.
