As part of our commitment to supporting student development and enhancing communication skills, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a school district in the Santa Barbara, CA area.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
Provide therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the educational curriculum.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessment results and therapy progress.
Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid California State license or eligibility to obtain one to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
