Our facility case mixed index for our unit is 3.9 and the Cherry Hill Campus, as a while case mix index ranks it in the top 10 highest acuity in the nation. Patients from all over the U.S. and world come to our renowned facility to receive treatments that require neurosurgical interventions.Our unit is staffed with Neuro-Intensivists, hospitalists and Advanced Practice providers on days and nights. We have a dedicated Neuroscience Clinical Nurse Specialist to foster your knowledge, a Professional Development Specialist to help you integrate to our practice and a Clinical Supervisor and Nurse Manager who are committed to making the NCCU a recognized team on the regional and national level.The unit is divided into 3 geographical units (NCCU East, North & South). NCCU South is currently closed. No exceptions.Floating: All travelers are expected to float to another unit within their scop of practice if needed. The facility has a designated float team that floats first however, in the event there is a need at another campus travelers will float first before perm staff. All facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. In the event that the traveler needs to float, it their responsibility to find transportation to the facility they re floated to. Traveler s refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.REFERENCES - Extremely important to have on file prior to submittal.
