Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Immediate supervision of forklift/material handler operators(external contractors)
- Operate a forklift as a working Team leader
- Assign personnel daily work schedule the day prior on appropriate form
- Abel to lift and carry packages that are not palletized
- Responsible for the Health and welfare of your team
- Train your personnel on the appropriate work instructions
- Ensure material is received and put away on a timely manner.
- Ensure material is picked and labeled before shipping window starts
- Ensure material is shipped on a timely manner.
- Ensure documents are turned into shipping office on time
- Report any discrepancies to shipping office coordinator
- Report Damage material to the Lrd Quality tech and fill out appropriate forms
- Ensure personnel accounts are setup for SAP
- Assign personnel for 6S duties to ensure a safe work place
- Develop and implement Lean Processes within the operation
- Conduct process audits to ensure employees are following the correct process so target Goals are met
- Participate in the GEMBA, Waste walks when required
- Develop CIP projects to enhance the operation
- Inventory cycle counts are conducted regularly
- Work collaboratively with others as a team player
Other Workplace Considerations:
- Daily use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required.
- Requires continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.
- Must be willing to work a2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 3:30 p.m. - midnight and frequent overtime and rotating weekends, as needed.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of forklift experience (sit-down / stand-up)
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- 1+ years of experience leading, supervising or mentoring teams
Preferred Qualifications:- Team player
- Bilingual: English / Spanish
- Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency if required.
- Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

Salary Range:The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is
$58,000 - $61,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
