Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation - Every other or 50% weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekends are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Travelers are not scheduled On Call hours, but may be placed On Call related to Low Census if hours are over guaranteed weekly hours OR traveler requests to be low censused On Call
Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday minimum during contracted timeframe
Requirements:
- SD RN License
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Epic preferred
- ONS Chemotherapy Cert - preferred
Other details:
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, if greater than 2 years experience
- Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
- Could be floated within scope of practice and below
- Will float in rotation with other travelers
- Patient Types: Adults with a variety of diagnoses including CHF, ARF, hepatitis, ESLD, DM, DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, GI bleed, syncope, chest pain, pulmonary emboli, respiratory failure, COPD, arrhythmias, seizure disorders, overdose, and delirium tremors
- Patient Ratios: PCU/Tele - 1:4 (Days & Nights), Med/Surg - 1:5 (Days & Nights)
- Beds: 56

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
