The Commissions Analyst at Larson Financial Holdings, LLC, plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of commissions within our organization. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining critical policy and customer data, entering and validating commission statement data, and supporting the overall commission process. The Commissions Analyst works closely with sales and leadership teams, providing essential insights into sales performance and monthly totals.
Key responsibilities include responding to advisor inquiries, conducting detailed research to resolve discrepancies, and participating in various financial and IT-related projects. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential, as the role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle complex data.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the entire commissions process, from data entry to reporting and analysis, and will demonstrate a proactive approach to improving efficiency and accuracy. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Commissions Analyst performs a wide range of duties that may include, but are not limited to:?
- Become proficient in the commission management systems using a combination of Excel, NetSuite, Salesforce and Terrapin/Pandia/Domo including entering commission data, updating status of existing policies, processing payments, and reviewing reports
- Maintain the sales organizational hierarchy, and make any necessary changes due to production tier levels, hires, terminations, or split case sales
- Maintain commission data, which requires keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Help maintain Pandia and Salesforce data integrity, monitoring for errors and resolving them when found
- Communicate with internal and external contacts to research and verify status of existing insurance policies, financial accounts and other products offered by the company
- Handle DTCC (Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation) commission feed related tasks
- Communicate with sales representatives including monthly reporting, date inquiry, and problem resolution
- Prepare and analyze quarterly production bonuses for sales representatives and their service teams
- Analyze and present on sales performance results
- Prepare annual budgets by representative and line of business
- Other assignments and responsibilities as necessary
Position Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Science and Technology or Other Related Field
- 2-3 years of analysis experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with client and internal staff information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the wealth management industry
- ERP or accounting systems experience with NetSuite
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM; experience with Financial Services Cloud is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages
