Commercial & Residential Management Group (CRMG) is searching for a dynamic Director of Portfolio Management to oversee and optimize our diverse conventional property portfolios. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize the performance and value of our properties. Your duties will include managing asset performance, leading a team of portfolio managers, analyzing market trends, and implementing best practices for client satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive growth and profitability while ensuring that all properties meet our high standards of excellence.

This position is based at our downtown Portland corporate office and requires residency within the Metro Urban Growth Boundary district.
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 (DOE)
Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Work Location: 1800 SW 1st Ave, #220, Portland, OR 97201
Additional Compensation: $75.00 monthly cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement for business-related travel.

Requirements:
What you will bring to the Director of Portfolio Management role:
- Three to five years of demonstrated growth and advancement in property management with senior leadership experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; however, a degree in Business, Accounting, or Real Estate is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills with demonstrated advanced level proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist in the establishment and implementation of Company organizational strategies, goals and objectives to ensure efficient operations.
- Work collaboratively with the Vice President of Residential Property Management to review and monitor annual operating budgets for each portfolio of properties.
- Review and approval of significant vendor contracts.
- Review and approve annual property operating budgets and interpret monthly profit and loss statements and financial reports provided to owners.
- Resolve client and resident complaints and issues.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant laws and Oregon Real Estate Commission administrative rules throughout company operations.
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Manager Associates and Assistant Portfolio Managers.
- Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, performance management and professional development of direct reports.
- Through periodic property visits and inspections and quarterly review meetings, assess and communicate Portfolio Manager performance against strategic business goals.
- Assist Portfolio Managers with performance reviews of on-site staff and provide direction on employee relations issues.
- Possess current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance and clean driving record.
