Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full time
Shift Schedule: 6pm - 6am M-Th with some OT
Salary: $27 - 30 / hr plus $1 shift premium
** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Safety of yourself and others (Lock out, Tag out)
- Maintaining & repairing of pelleting & processing equipment that includes 3 500HP Mills, drag and belt conveyors, auger systems, and silos
- Helping Mill operator with die changes and other mechanical issues
- Help with installation of new equipment
- Welding and fabricating of used and new equipment
- Testing of spark detection and other fire prevention equipment
- Drag and belt conveyor repairs
- Building maintenance
- Assist in production as needed
Requirements:
Maintenance Technician Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required with vocational training highly preferred
- One to five years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial work setting.
- Pneumatic & basic hydraulic knowledge preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
- Will need to be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to work all shifts and call ins if needed
