Wilo USA LLC is a subsidiary of Wilo SE, which is headquartered in Dortmund, Germany. Wilo is one of the leading manufacturers of pumps & pump systems for heating, cooling & air-conditioning solutions, water supply, and sewage & drainage. Wilo USA acquired Weil Pump and Scot Pump in 2017, American-Marsh Pumps in 2019, QuantumFlo in October 2021, HydroServe in May 2023 and Plad in November 2023.
Wilo is looking for a top-level talent to step into this role. This is a role designed for an emerging talent that is ready to work cross-functionally between engineering, sales, marketing, purchasing, and operations. The ideal candidate will possess natural leadership skills, a keen intellect, and a history of driving results. A key success factor is the ability to be an effective team player in a dynamic, fast paced, global work environment.
General Duties May Include:
1. Coordinate with sales, engineering, customer service, technical support, manufacturing, shipping, accounting, legal, and purchasing any new products and changes to existing products to assure timely delivery and target profitability.
2. Incorporate sales forecast, market penetration, budget estimates, strategy, advertising, research and promotional efforts required to meet current and projected market objectives and profits.
3. Work with operations and purchasing to ensure needed product supply based on demand projections. Specify changes in product demand so production and inventory levels can be adjusted accordingly.
4. Develop a personal expertise on products and channels including a complete intelligence file on competitors' products, pricing, market share, performance claims, field activity, customer service channels of market distribution and end-user preferences. Become familiar with product materials, manufacturing, packaging, and promotions.
5. Work with sales in developing sales training programs.
6. Develop feasibility requests, approve for manufacture, and establish prices for modified products as requested by sales and marketing managers.
7. Recommend revisions to existing products or new products based upon information from sales, engineering, and marketing.
8. Identify cost reduction opportunities to increase product margins.
9. Develop plans for introducing and discontinuing products in line with the long-range market objective.
10. Provide Product Engineering with market preference and trends on products.
11. Maintain high level of communications with sales team and sister division counterparts who also market/sell within these channels.
12. Maintain awareness of national and state legislation. Communicate the effects of these requirements on the marketing of products and required changes to meet these requirements to the sales organization. Ensure required product certifications are maintained.
13. Analyze customer complaints and forward to sales, quality control and engineering departments for response.
14. Review performance of each product in terms of profitability, volume contribution to product line, and it's potential, and recommend product discontinuance, where applicable, or more emphasis through Marketing programs with consumer Sales and Marketing Managers.
15. Review engineering change requests to assigned products.
16. Drive Product Design Teams as they are formed.
17. Travel approximately 5-20% of the time to customer meetings and various component and product suppliers.
18. Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Major Responsibilities:
1. P & L responsibility by product market, globally, within one of the following segments.
a. Building Services – (HVAC – Commercial – Residential)
b. Fire – Full understanding NFPA 20 & 70 (NEC), and systems.
c. Water Management – Municipal
d. OEM 5-20% depending on market assignment.
2. Work with Wilo SE Globally – Germany, France, China, Mexico, India, Middle East & Africa.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing, Engineering/Manufacturing with MBA preferred
*Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
*Ability to communicate with people from wide variety of backgrounds and personalities and bring them together to work toward common goal.
*Experience in marketing and managing products in the Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, Fire and / or Specialty Markets
