Job Summary
The Manager, Sales & Business Development will be responsible for delivering our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The ideal candidate is an ambitious and solution-oriented professional with a can-do attitude who is excited by the prospect of fueling the growth and success of our company. This position will focus on driving consistent pipeline generation across the team, exceeding quota, using research to gain insight into customer challenges, identifying key stakeholders, and challenging customers' thinking about how our solutions can transform the way their business works. You will guide and lead a team responsible for building and developing business relationships with customers and directing their efforts to drive growth and achieve strategic and operational objectives. This role reports to VP, Sales Operations.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
- Exceed sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
- Successfully generate a consistent pipeline, achieve growth and hit sales targets by leveraging existing relationships and creating new relationships
- Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Daily and weekly update on opportunities and leads
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Run call and demo reviews, team performance and pipeline metric reviews, 1x1s, and skill sessions
- Consult the team on building account action plans to help define appropriate expansion strategies
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct presentation and relay objection handling
- Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following an defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
- Work alongside Marketing, Product and Go to Market teams to define the target markets and ideal customer profile. Work with marketing on creating and executing campaigns
- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
- Consistently integrates Allbridge’s core values into their everyday habits by treating all customers, internal and external, professionally, honestly and respectfully
- Accepts ownership and accountability of position responsibilities and strives to deliver results for customers that establish high standards, credibility and quality performance
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
Required/Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in sales within a technology setting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Personal integrity
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence with clear record
- Ability to travel at least 25-50% of the time
