Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
Duties:
- Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the most suitable massage treatments
- Provide acute pain management and assist in pain management plans
- Offer physical examinations and recommend appropriate massage therapies
- Maintain accurate records of patient service and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions
- Uphold high standards of patient care and professionalism
Skills:
- Proficiency in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Strong understanding of occupational health and its relation to massage therapy
- Excellent patient assessment skills for tailored treatment plans
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service and care
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Prior experience in a med spa or clinical setting is advantageous
