Jones & Dyer, APC is engaged in a general, civil litigation practice in California. Our firm has significant trial experience in the areas of public entity defense, commercial litigation (business tort and contract), insurance defense, real estate, lease and construction litigation, general negligence, premises, and product liability areas. We are seeking to expand our practice with an additional Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1 to 7 years' experience however, attorneys who have recently been admitted to the bar or who are awaiting bar exam results are encouraged to apply.
This position offers the opportunity to work on all aspects of a case including drafting motions, arguing law and motion matters, taking depositions, court and trial experience, and conducting legal research. This position offers the opportunity to gain litigation experience over a wide range of practice areas including Agriculture Litigation, Business Litigation, Insurance Defense, Public Entity, and Civil Litigation. Candidates with a connection to insurance, agriculture or public entities are preferred.

Strong knowledge of civil litigation practices (including drafting pleadings, serving/responding to discovery requests, taking/defending depositions, develop initial analysis and develop case strategy, build and sustain relationships with clients)
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work with a wide variety of clients from a variety of fields.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
