Responsibilities:
- Research, design and develop new medical product technologies and platforms.
- Detailed design and integration of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, including injection molded parts, seals, machined parts, thin film barriers, sensors and other packaged electronic components.
- Create drawings and specifications in compliance with ASME Y14 standard.
- Research and implement materials and manufacturing processes and equipment for new product introductions.
- Perform design analysis including tolerance stack.
- Develop test methods for product performance to compliance with applicable FDA and ISO standards.
- Manage project schedule and activities in adherence to an established product development process.
- Drive product improvement and line extension initiatives.
- Create production/engineering/quality documentation within the Remington Medical, Inc. Quality System.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Establish working relationships with cross-functional team to facilitate coordination and execution of project work.
- Interface with multiple disciplines internally, suppliers, and customers.

- BS degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
- 3 years of medical device or FDA regulated industry experience.
- At least one new product introduction.
- Injection molded part design, preferably enclosures and electronic systems.
- 1000hrs Solidworks CAD: CSWA or CSWP preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability as it relates to medical devices and electronics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
