POSITION: DAZE Merchandiser
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Merchandising
OBJECTIVE: This role’s main function is to manage the Daze Denim and RTW categories.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily sales functions throughout the company in conjunction with the merchandising team
- Develop comprehensive assortment strategies for the RTW and Denim Daze divisions
- Prepare and present seasonal hindsight to Senior Director of Merchandising and Sales Director
- Maintain an understanding of the competitive and impart key insights into the seasonal development
- Partner with Senior Director of Merchandising and Sales Director to identify key growth categories and track and manage best selling items
- Action on an sales call outs
- Uphold pricing strategy based on internal financial goals
- Maintain the division of brand identity for Daze while being innovative
- Work with Designers to make sure all deadlines are met and requests are actioned
- Manage all SMU projects for majors and ecom teams
- Manage all seasonal development alongside PD and Design by making sure sku counts and requests are being met
- On a weekly basis, update the internal terms on sku development and updates to the assortment
- Manage CORE and Wholesale inventory assortment by assesing the ATS on a weekly basis with Merch, Sales, Ecom and planning
- Manage visual and style information assets for all major accounts, international and domestic showrooms
- Work with the PD team on managing sample distribution each season
- Work with the sales team and Merchandising Assistant to send sample requests to major showrooms
- Parnter with Design Teams each season to make sure all image assets are accurate for linesheets, Joor and NuOrder
- Manage data accuracy within the internal reporting system
- Partner with the ecommerce team to assist with seasonal launches and supply the teams with product information
Qualifications
- 4-6 years in Merchandising or Buying
- Advance excel experience: retail math, pivot tables, v-look up
- Strong organizational skills and process management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker with an eye for detail
- Strong sense of product knowledge
- Balance of analytical and creative abilities
- Abilitiy to handle multiple deliveries at once
- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Experience in NuOrder and Joor is a plus
- Must be located in the greater Los Angeles area
- This is a 100% on site postion
