As a professional driving instructor, you will teach behind the wheel instruction following instructional guidelines from the State of California DMV to complete a required Behind the Wheel Driving curriculum as well as meeting the instructional goals of Car-diology Driving School. This position is a great fit for college students and teachers!
About This Role:
- In a company-provided vehicle, you will teach teens and adults the fundamentals of driving and in depth knowledge of the DMV drive test
- We will assist you in obtaining the state-required driving instructor certification through our paid training program
- We ask you to keep in mind the majority of the demand for driving lessons is in the afternoons and weekends as most of our students are on a school schedule. Summer schedule is more flexible (until August 14th). A typical day could consist of three, two-hour lessons.
- Training consists of self paced reading for the DMV instructors license test and some hours of observing a lead instructor teaching behind the wheel instruction.
