Job Summary
The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator-RN is an advanced position that involves a balance of study participant contact, research study initiation, coordination, and management of study data. This position may provide basic project management assistance to the leadership team (i.e. retrospective study set-up, case report form development, etc.) This individual must have the ability to organize complex components of various research protocols, including scheduling and coordination of study required procedures. This position requires close collaboration with the research team to ensure safe and compliant adherence to the research protocol and ancillary study activities. Critical thinking, self-motivation, direction, and autonomy are critical to the daily tasks that are carried out in partnership with the physician investigators and other members of the research team. This position is an opportunity to learn daily and contribute to research of the future. Enthusiasm for learning is required as is participation in informing participants, physicians, nurses, and other personnel of the research process. This position will work directly with research participants of all ages.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Three years nursing experience preferred
- Five or more years of research and/or child development/assessment experience preferred
- One or more years of experience interacting with children in a professional setting preferred
Credential/Licensure
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, days; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
