We are looking for Part Time Nurse Practitioners/Clinic Nurse that are able to work 7-10 shifts a month which includes 3 weekend shifts a month.
The Nurse Practitioner/Clinic Nurse will be overseeing patient-care operations, monitoring, identifying, and implementing quality improvements.
The Nurse Practitioner/Clinic Nurse position will be a part-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Lead Nurse Practitioner and Doctor/Owner at Hydration Room.
Job Duties:
- Providing initial good faith exam for first time patients via phone/telehealth
- Will need to complete telehealth appointments while in the clinic office
- Remotely triage, and treat patients via our online telehealth platform, including: proactively providing medical and wellness education, treating patients via our online chat-based telemedicine platform, recommending suitable treatment plans and assisting in care coordination and onsite visit planning for wellness member visits.
- Giving and receiving regular feedback on individual member cases.
- Providing a positive member experience in telemedicine interactions, including quality of care recommended and tone / messaging with which care is delivered.
- Function as day-to-day clinical provider, providing decision support, directing the multidisciplinary team.
- When working a clinic, start IVs and administer injections, perform patient consults via telehealth and in person
- Coordinate with the physicians across the continuum of care, including, Doctor/Owner, Regional Clinic Manager, District Lead Nurses and Nurses.
- Participate in the provider schedule to provide coverage for our 7 day a week clinic schedule. This will require weekend availability on a recurring basis. Expected to work two - four weekend day shifts per month.
- Fill in as a nurse in the clinic to fulfill hour requirement when necessary
- Performs other related duties as assigned and required. Example: Signing off on patient charts, patient call backs
- Possible need to travel to clinics within the Southern California area for training- 15% of travel
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent team management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of IV Clinic procedures and services offered
Proficient patient charting system, scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, or related software.
Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
Education and Experience:
DEA/NPI Certification
Certified Nurse Practitioner
BLS/ACLS.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Nurse Practitioner Benefits and Salary:
$60 an hour commensurate with holistic care experience plus hourly tips when working as the clinic nurse.
