Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice quality, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students and families
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex communication and swallowing disorders
