Job Summary:
The Early Talent Lead will be responsible for leading the new talent program. The Early Talent Lead will help oversee the development of new talent through rotational and internship programs, and will be involved in activities such as learning and development, performance management, leadership development, employee assessment, and succession planning. This role will report to the Early Talent Program Manager, and will collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations leaders as well as the human resources department to drive the overall development and succession planning of new talent.
This is a hybrid role that will be located at our HQ in Glendale, WI.
Principal Duties:
Collaborate with specific universities, professional organizations, and affinity networks to boost engagement and visibility, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
Administer the Learning and Development program on a regional basis to ensure participation at all levels.
Conduct training for assignment managers of the participants, including implementing a method to measure the overall training effectiveness.
Meet with assignment managers to assess the competency level of current associates and interns, ensure that participants are progressing as expected, and gaining the best possible experience.
Provide input on the New Talent Dashboard monthly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree highly desired in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering
3-5 years progressive supply chain, finance, program management and/or operations experience
Demonstrated collaborative leadership and management experience
Candidate for this role will benefit greatly from a strong passion for people and talent development
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office products and financial reporting software
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Located in Glendale, WI with in-office requirements (3 days/week)
Desired Qualifications:
MBA or master's degree
Regional experience in working with cross-functional teams
Established network within the organization
Experience working with remote teams
