Description:
The Building Superintendent/Manager is responsible for all maintenance required on the assigned commercial property, including all work done by contractors. The Building Superintendent/Manager position is also responsible to making sure work is completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
The Building Superintendent/Manager's responsibilities include:
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
- Troubleshooting and providing maintenance and repairs
- Handles all service calls within a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the tenant
- Ensures a clean and safe environment for the tenants, staff members, and visitors in all areas of the community
- Inspects work performed by subcontractors such as cleaning companies and flooring installers
- Visits tenants and submits building walkthrough report monthly
- Communicates with office manager to stock the building with day to day supplies and informs City Manager of supply and equipment needs
- Daily communication with the office manager on job progress and supply needs
- Reports to management upon job completion or when problems/discrepancies occur
- Maintain a neat and clean work area
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying particular attention to health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently is a must
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must have basic computer skills, including email and video conferencing
The Building Superintendent/Manager's salary:
$29.00 per hour
