The Role:
In addition to the duties of the LICSW Therapist role, the Portages Health Clinical Supervisor is a strategic position which will help optimize treatments for our clients. The clinical supervisor will have regular, structured meetings with staff to discuss treatments and professional issues. The clinical supervisor will guide practitioners to assess clients' mental health, develop suitable treatments, and make referrals. A strong ability to select, train, evaluate, develop, and motivate staff; ensuring quality clinical documentation at all times is essential.
To be successful in this role strong leadership skills are required in order to make prudent decisions to maintain practitioners who can adequately fulfill clients' treatment needs. Top candidates will be organized, knowledgeable, professional and be excellent communicators.
Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:
Provide direct clinical and case management services as well as administrative support.
Provide clinical supervision to a multidisciplinary team of clinical staff in an outpatient and/or school setting.
Train clinical staff in best practices related to clinical diagnosis, treatment planning and documentation; ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality.
Act as a resource for staff to problem solve complex clinical presentations; assisting practitioners by supervising complex cases.
Provide individual and group supervision to clinical staff.
Overseeing and reviewing practitioners' documentation; reviewing and signing notes
Counseling, motivating, and developing practitioners, and referring advanced issues to the COO and/or the appropriate department.
Ensuring practitioners comply with licensure and registration requirements.
Conducting performance reviews.
Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic counseling to clients as assigned.
Provide clinical documentation such as treatment plans, assessments, and clinical notes.
Enhancing operations by ensuring sufficient staffing and adequate access to services.
Developing programs and ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
Ensure operations are within compliance with related federal, state and local regulations.
Report relevant information in a timely manner to clinical supervisor and/or program director
Attend meetings as necessary
Report all applicable information to licensing/supervisory board
Perform other duties as assigned.

Clinical Supervisor Requirements:
LICSW- Licensed in MN.
5+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
Valid driver's license.
Proficient with supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals.
Proficient knowledge of applicable laws.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $92,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
