We are looking for a motivated individual who will actively participate in developing and supporting the Supply Planning & Inventory Division within the Supply Chain Department.
The RoleThe Inventory Manager is responsible for inventory optimization and minimizing carrying costs. This position has a strong emphasis in inventory financial analysis including inventory valuation such as ABC analysis, stockout rate, EOQ.
Within the S&OP scope, this position is key in assessing healthy inventory levels, turnover and performance and analyses the various aspects of inventory management such as stock levels, carrying costs, turnover rations, obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
Requirements:
Primary responsibilities:- Maintaining and improving the company's inventory position by analyzing inventory statistics to determine products, health and trends (e.g. material obsolescence, excess inventory, slow-moving inventory, etc.).
- Perform inventory financial analysis to identify performance impact, which products are selling the most and which are under-performing
- Analyses and monitors key performance indicators and business performance and creates regular reports to management
- Support Supply Planning & Inventory Manager and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions
- Analyses of Inventory at Risk and communication to management indicating improvements to inventory control
- Analyzing and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory
- Drive improvements to data integrity, building robust and agile reporting, and process simplification
- Active participant to meet company service level targets and division KPI's

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, independent thinker
- Excellent knowledge of Power Point and Excel. Excel level required: able to process large quantities of data using spreadsheets, graphs, data tables, calculations, and automation to produce results
- Experience with ERP, BI is a must, APS system is a plus
- Strong analytical, ability to problem solve and rapidly shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, math's, and multi-tasking skills
- Fluent English, written and oral. French is a plus
