Job Description
We are looking for a Supervisor, Brand Communications to support the creation and execution of communication strategies that increase brand reputation among key audiences (notably: media, consumers, opinion elites, stakeholders, franchise owners.) The ideal candidate has experience supporting communications objectives that directly support business and brand outcomes as well as executing multi-channel communications programming.
Responsibilities
- Drive communications strategies for key reputational priorities and audiences that align with McDonald’s Impact vision and support the US business
- Reach and influence target audiences by delivering campaigns with strong messaging, creative storytelling, channel strategies, content and media and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Partner with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts to effectively execute across the business and bring brand communications campaigns to life
- Lead strategic project management for multiple initiatives
- Manage day-to-day of working team and agency partners to ensure we are efficiently and effectively channeling resources to meet our objectives
- Support an inclusive and positive team culture
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in a brand/consumer communications role, either in-house or at an agency.
- Relevant communications expertise that includes external (stakeholder, influencer, consumer, earned media) and multicultural experience.
- Relevant experience leading or contributing to initiatives and communications strategies that positively change audience perception of a brand or issue.
- Understanding and experience working on reputational issues such as community impact, workforce and skills, education, and/or environment and climate.
- Strong understanding of diverse cultural audiences and leveraging key cultural insights to drive communications strategies.
- Natural storyteller with excellent written and oral communications skills, including an ability to convey complex issues in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Strong project manager with proven ability to manage multiple timelines and workstreams
- Self-starter with strong sense of initiative, focused on results; ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and, at times, within ambiguous and undefined circumstances.
- Strong advisory skills with the ability to offer credible advice to senior leaders.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, while being flexible, collaborative and deadline-driven.
