(Senior) Contract Recruitment Consultant – Renewable Energy

Headquartered in New York City, Kintec Search is a wholly-associated affiliate of the Kintec Group of companies, a global recruitment business in operation since 2001. Our core markets within the US focus on the Renewable Energy, Power & Utilities & Construction markets. Within Renewables, we work with leading Developers and Engineering firms within the Offshore and Onshore Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Battery Storage and Battery Manufacturing industries.
On the back of multiple contract awards and excellent growth throughout 2024, our Renewable Energy contract desk is looking to make an additional hire to both drive delivery to existing accounts, whilst also having an eye on bringing new accounts to the table.
Where you will be working:
Our offices are located in lower midtown-Manhattan, just off 5th Ave in the Flatiron District, easily commutable via Union Square / 14th Street subway stations. Our office is a modern 5,000 sq foot space with state-of-the-art amenities and equipment.
Essential Experience:
- At least 12 months’ experience within EITHER Contract Recruitment or Renewables / Energy related markets in the USA and North America
- Must be willing to travel as required by the role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educated to Graduate level
Duties and key responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales and operations work in line with division strategy
- Development of team personnel
- Meeting divisional financial targets
- Creating new business opportunities
- Identifying new markets
- Responsible for recruitment of new personnel in line with growth strategy
- Understanding and adherence to quality procedures at all times
- Business to Business sales to achieve GP targets.
- Selecting workers to fill orders
- Maintaining high levels of candidate and client contact
- Make presentations to clients
- Maximise business opportunities via follow up telephone work to agreed GP targets.
- Maintain knowledge of current legislation
- Proactive - selling out workers to current and prospective clients.
- Proactive problem solving of client issues in order to maximise service and revenue levels.
- Interviewing workers and maximising lead opportunities.
- Negotiate and confirm rates
