About the Role:
The Community Manager oversees front-of-house operations, which includes preparing the center daily for members and guests (coffee/water service, kiosk, room set-ups, hospitality service items, ensuring a clean center); solving issues for clients (HVAC, printer, WiFi, keys, payments, housekeeping); sales (lead gen, follow up, close); new member orientation meetings; and programming inside and outside of the building (lunch and learns, special event coordination, marketing events, and connection opportunities with local businesses and non-profit organizations).

This candidate should be a people-oriented, welcoming, and friendly person, with a strong bent toward front-of-house hospitality, event-planning, marketing, sales, networking, and problem-solving. The candidate is the type of person who will think proactively by providing extra-mile support for clients in advance of their needs; someone who enjoys connecting people; a person who loves to plan and throw a party; someone who discerns needs and can sell one of our solutions; and someone who enjoys making people feel welcomed and appreciated. Must be able to learn a variety of systems to assist clients and ensure a smoothly operated center.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the center is a welcoming, hospitable, and clean environment
- Provide extraordinary customer service, solving problems quickly and efficiently
- Assist in the planning and execution of member events
- Think proactively about future events and services
- Disseminate information to members and guests in a timely manner; keep them up to date on all the latest FUSE events
- Give the world's greatest tour to prospective members, closing deals
- Sell FUSE products such as private offices, coworking, dedicated desks, and event space
- Provide content for company social media posts
- Establish/develop relationships with local non-profit organizations
- Develop and deploy community outreach strategies and local marketing efforts
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently to solve problems
- Team player who can work collaboratively to achieve center goals
- Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking skills: ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to intuitively connect with people; warm and approachable
- Passion for surprising and delighting customers\
- Knowledge and use of computers and business applications such as Outlook, Web browsing, Google Drive & Forms, Word, Excel; ability to learn and use property management software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs.; move heavy office desks, packages, chairs, or other office furniture using dollies; ability to climb short ladders for maintenance or storage needs; ability to clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Travel to/from other centers in support as needed as well as travel to/from training events
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance and liability limits that meet the company’s requirement outlined in the Driver’s Safety Policy; reliable transportation, satisfactory report from a background check; legal ability to work in the United States.
