3B is accepting applications for a full-time ICC Special Inspector who has relevant experience performing structural inspections on construction materials such as soils, masonry, concrete, firestopping, and wood framing. The ideal candidate will have experience performing field inspection/testing and inspections related to Chapter 17 of the International Building Code. The essential job functions of a special inspector include: performing observations and testing per the related technical guidelines; writing detailed reports summarizing observations and testing; communication of results to project managers, clients, contractors and design professionals; organizing work and managing time efficiently and effectively; and showing commitment as a team player to help the company and others achieve desired goals.
