Senior Director of Marketing
Cavallo’s Senior Director of Marketing will oversee the development and execution of a strategic marketing strategy focused on growth and brand awareness to ultimately deliver demand creation and capture. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in marketing, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
A typical day for the Senior Director of Marketing would include:
- Developing, leading and managing the Cavallo Marketing strategy;
- Growing Cavallo’s demand generation programs to deliver and exceed pipeline contribution goals;
- Managing brand identity and increasing brand awareness in Cavallo’s target markets;
- Planning/coordinating/managing tradeshows, conferences, and Cavallo’s annual customer event;
- Partnering cross functionally with other departments to ensure marketing campaigns and initiatives are aligned with company goals;
- Analyzing marketing data and reporting patterns/making recommendations to executive team;
- Overseeing advertising and social media strategies;
- Work closely with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to develop and manage the global marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI;
- Develop and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts, tactics, and programs;
- Partner with external agency and vendors to marketing campaigns and initiatives;
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and insights that inform the marketing strategy.
This may be the job for you if:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Early stage high-growth SaaS experience a must.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, and content marketing strategies.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in marketing automation and CRM tools, specifically Hubspot and Salesforce.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bonus points for demonstrated expertise or certifications in digital marketing, event marketing, demand generation, or MBA.
