Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest - OPPS Department - OPPS is the outpatient and procedural services department. Registered Nurses get patients ready for procedures including OR, Cath lab, IR, and Endo patients. Additionally, Registered Nurses recover Phase II patients. While these patients may have received moderate sedation they maintain their airway and return to OPPS for care until they are able to discharge home or are admitted to the hospital.
