Assists nursing staff with mobilization of patients. Helping patients and encouraging ADL activities
What you will do
- Mobilizing Patients
- Patient care
- Collaboration/Teamwork with Nursing and Physical/Occupational Therapy and other departments as needed
Skills and Abilities
- Able to understand all verbal and written communication instructions (Required proficiency)
- Able to record specific simple data (Required proficiency)
- Good time management and interpersonal skills. (Required proficiency)
- Physically, cognitively and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and able to assist in physical mobility of patients and equipment. (Required proficiency)
QualificationsEducation Qualifications
- High School Equivalent / GED with experience in vocational education as a nursing assistant Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- Experience as nursing assistant or related area in a health care facility Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Preferred
