OverviewThe Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performance of diagnostic procedures in the area for which they are assigned. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in areas that they are licensed. This individual helps maintain an excellent rapport between Laboratory staff and other hospital departments.
(Must be able to work 2 weekends per month)
QualificationsEducation:
- Associate Degree in MLS
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Must have current Florida Laboratory License
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
-(Must be able to work 2 weekends per month)
- MLT Preferred
- Prefer ASCP Certification
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
