Microwave Techniques, located in Gorham, ME, is a skilled design and manufacturer of high-power RF components and provides technical solutions for our clients on a global scale. These RF components, made from Aluminum, Copper and Stainless Steel, allow Scientists and Engineers to create cutting edge medical and radar systems, including extreme high power or ultra-high vacuum RF devices.
Microwave Techniques is searching for a CNC Programmer, the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of programming experience with a self-starter mindset. The individual will be involved in programming and assisting machinists with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs using CAMWorks and/or Mastercam software for various types of CNC machines including mills, lathes and routers.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Collaborate with production team to ensure efficient and effective machining processes
- Knowledge and experience in selecting feeds and speeds for a wide range of materials
- Experience in selecting the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools attachments and materials
- Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Continuously improve machining processes to increase efficiency and quality
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all CNC programs and machining processes
- Collaborate with our Nashua NH facility for knowledge sharing and best practices

- 5+ years of previous experience as a CNC Programmer
- Previous experience as a machinist
- Proficiency in CAMWorks and/or Mastercam software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical Requirements:
· Monday to Friday, day shift 8 hours per day.
· Climate controlled facility.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to stand, kneel and sit for long periods of time.
· Must be able to move within a campus setting.

Salary Range: $33 - $39
The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications and prior work experience
Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
