Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Off Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
$20.00/hour minimum

Job Overview:
The Resource Services Specialist is a welcoming presence and assistance to all patients and visitors of Jordan Valley Community Health Center. They conduct ongoing rounds of campus and clinic areas to offer service and identify needs for safety improvement or assisting patients with getting in and out of vehicles as well as rain duty. Under the direction of the Resource Service Supervisor, the Resource Services Specialist will also assist with the inspection to make sure the facility is safe and checking of safety equipment, facilitation of emergency drills, and responses to emergency situations.
Duties:
- Completes regular rounds to monitor orderliness, cleanliness, and safety of clinic and campus environments and offer greetings or service to patients/guests/employees; provides minor cleaning and organization support; contacts Facilities Maintenance team for enhanced service as needed.
- Performs daily opening/closing environmental checks according to schedule; assures campus and clinic environments are appropriately prepared and/or secured for patient services; seeks/arranges resources to address noted gaps.
- Operates organization's shuttle/transit vehicles as assigned to transport patients, guests, and/or employees.
- Responds to reports of aggressive/disruptive patients, guests, or employees; utilizes peaceful intervention methods to de-escalate and restore calm; arranges law enforcement interventions as necessary.
- Serves as a member of clinic's Lift Team; provides timely response to requests for lift, transfer, or re-position of patients; appropriately evaluates patients' needs before/during/after lift/transfer/re-position and facilitates lift service while assuring dignity and respect of patient.
- Escorts patients who desire wheelchair assistance to, from, and within the building (obtains chair as required); provide support/stabilization for patients during transfer to vehicles.
- Patrols parking lots and grounds for hazards or unwelcome visitors; removes hazards or requests leave of individuals as needed; escorts patients, guests, and/or employees in parking lots/grounds during darkness or as requested.
- Assists patients, guests, and employees with minor vehicle needs such as battery jump, tire changes, and ice removal from windshields.
- Assist with unloading freight items as requested.
- Under the direction of the Campus Services Supervisor facilitates safety drills and education to appropriately prepare employees for emergencies.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Supports (BLS) certification with 90 days of hire.
- Achieves certification in organizationally approved peaceful intervention/de-escalation technique within 180 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in customer service and/or hospitality.
