Clinical Team Lead - $2,500 sign on bonus

Position Profile: Responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight of the Extended Care team of substance use counselors and peers. This position's focus is on the clinical development and professional growth of the clinical team to provide high quality services to the clients we serve. This position will develop and oversee both the individual and group services provided to our Extended Care clients.
Qualifications Required: Our Clinical Team Lead will currently hold an eligible independent practice license (e.g. LADC, LCPC, and LCSW) with strong background in substance use treatment, clinical services delivery, clinical supervision and staff development with a minimum 1-3 years clinical supervisory experience. Must have a State of Maine Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) license and a valid driver's license. Possesses the ability to make sound clinical decisions independently, and an appreciation for when to seek supervision. Must work collaboratively with other staff, especially counseling and facility staff. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Clinical Team:
· Provides clinical supervision to OOB counselors, peers, interns, program administrator/case manager and trainees including orientation and training, individual and group supervision, and evaluation of performance, and all clinical documentation.
· Provides administrative supervision to Extended Care staff.
· Ensures that applicable licensing requirements are met in documentation.
· Participates in the implementation and use of an electronic health record system.
· Participates in ongoing training and supervision in Motivational Interviewing modality.
· Participates in program evaluation activities.
· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies, court system and law enforcement.
· Ensure the promotion of community awareness of Milestone and represents the organization professionally.
· Schedule and attend appropriate staff and in-service training meetings.
· Available for consultation or response for scheduled on call hours.
· Assists with recruitment, hiring, and training of staff and volunteers.
· Exercise confidentiality of client information, and models this with staff.
· Willing and able to work as a team member.
· Acts in a manner consistent with applicable code of ethics.
· Provide direct counseling services to clients to include screening, assessment, group and individual counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and referral to other services as appropriate.
· Accept and perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical demands and work environment: Freedom of movement on a regular basis. Operating basic office equipment in a normal office environment. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. May spend extended periods operating a desktop computer, requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity; physical activity requires walking, bending, standing and lifting.
Compensation: Compensation for this salaried position ranges from $55,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience.
