Under the direction of the Marketing team, the Marketing Support Specialist Specialist supports the Senior VP of Sales/Marketing and collaborates with various departments throughout the organization.
We're searching for a Marketing Support Specialist Specialist to execute and inform Flagship’s marketing strategies by executing programs and tactics that grow our pipeline, engage, and retain B2B audiences help nurture them into leads and, eventually, clients. Our ideal Marketing Support Specialist commands best practices and trends in B2B conference and event marketing, enjoys being creative, and understands how to both engage and convert B2B audiences.
We are looking for a multi-talented, highly organized marketer to support content, creative, and digital marketing initiatives and assist with data aggregation/analysis. This role requires precise attention to detail, project management skills, and both creative and pragmatic problem-solving.

Essential Functions
- Project management (i.e., pre-/post-event planning, logistics coordination) for 30+ trade shows and conferences per year.
- Analyze B2B event strategies, monitor attendance, collaborate with and gather feedback from attendees, create reports that help determine event ROI, and ensure strategic alignment across the Sales and Marketing Teams.
- Maintain inventory of promo products and collateral, and track and generate reports on budget vs. actual spend.
- Research and manage industry-related sponsorships, networking events, and third-party vendors as part of conference strategy.
- Contribute to marketing projects as needed by copywriting, creating, and posting on multiple social channels to promote the company and our conference attendance.
- Place insertion orders, track and submit invoices for payment, and work with printers to produce materials as needed to support conference attendance or other events.
- Work closely with the Content Team to create effective email campaigns to promote our attendance at conferences and trade shows.
- Assist with marketing analytics by generating accurate and digestible reports across multiple platforms (i.e. performance of website, Google/SEO, programmatic ad campaigns, social ads, email nurtures.)
- Provide additional research, project, and strategic support for Content, Creative, and Web Teams as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in B2B marketing with the proven ability to conduct engagements in a professional and appropriate manner
- Experience with logistics and coordination of conferences and events, including pre and post show email and social media promotion.
- Experience working with marketing automation tools such as Hubspot, Marketo, or Pardot to set up workflows, nurtures, and sequences, schedule social media posts, and analyze results.
- Ability to manage and optimize multi-platform marketing campaigns through data aggregation and analysis.
- Familiarity with WordPress and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills are required and ability to keep all event attendees and project stakeholders informed and up to date.
- Ability to take initiative and tackle projects with minimal direction.
- Ability to excel in a fast- paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong team skills, with a willingness to pitch in on projects with tight production deadlines.
Education and Work Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in the marketing field
- 2+ years’ experience in event planning and management
- B.A. in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
