We're a dynamic company looking for a seasoned Marketing Technology Manager to join our growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy by leveraging the latest MarTech tools and ensuring seamless technology integration across all our marketing initiatives.
We seek a strategic Manager, Marketing Technology, to spearhead our digital growth. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for maximizing website performance, driving user engagement, and leveraging data insights to optimize marketing strategies and ultimately, boost event attendance.
What you'll do:
- Lead the charge: Research, recommend, and implement best-in-class marketing technology solutions (think: CRM, email marketing, marketing automation, analytics platforms, etc.) to elevate our marketing campaigns and drive attendee engagement.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive web optimization strategy, focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience (UX), and search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance website traffic, lead generation, and overall user experience.
- Oversee the implementation of A/B testing methodologies to identify website optimization opportunities and continuously improve conversion rates.
- Integration master: Architect, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain all marketing technology configurations and integrations. This includes ensuring smooth connections between internal systems (CRMs, ticketing platforms) and external marketing tools (email marketing, social media platforms, analytics tools) via APIs, plugins, and custom integrations.
- Data whisperer: Unleash the power of data! Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies, analyze campaign performance across integrated platforms, leverage heat maps, conversion pixels, and journey tracking tools to optimize the customer journey, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to translate data insights into website improvements and marketing strategies.
- Collaboration is key: Work closely with marketing and IT departments to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of marketing technology across the organization.
- Develop and maintain clear dashboards and reporting structures to effectively communicate key website performance metrics and insights to stakeholders.
- Future focus: Stay on top of emerging marketing technologies and trends, keeping the team informed and prepared to lead the way in the ever-evolving event landscape.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing technology with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, marketing analytics tools, and experience integrating them with other technologies, APIs, plugins, etc.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, A/B testing platforms).
- In-depth understanding of conversion optimization principles and best practices (CRO).
- Solid knowledge of SEO fundamentals and their impact on website traffic acquisition.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A passion for live events and a desire to be part of a dynamic and creative team.
- Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Bonus points for:
- Experience with event registration platforms and mobile app development.
- Knowledge of event ticketing systems and access control technologies.
- A strong understanding of event marketing best practices.
