Job Summary
An Industrial Electrician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical equipment. They use diagnostic tools to find the root cause of an issue and then they use power hand tools to fix the issue. Industrial Electricians have an expert knowledge of electricity, as well as an aptitude for working with their hands.
1. Responsibilities
A. Safety
● Promote and engage in a safe work environment
● Report safety incidents
● Display good housekeeping in work areas
● Ensure adherence to OSHA and Onex safety policies
B. Work Tasks
● Read and understand electrical prints
● Use diagnostic tools to inspect and test equipment
● Identify and resolve electrical malfunctions
● Install electrical wiring, conduit and wire ways
● Troubleshoot PLC systems, standalone controllers and control elements
● Assemble and install industrial equipment
C. Productivity
● Complete work in a timely manner with proper crew size and skill
● Work with crew to overcome challenges to keep the job on schedule
● Report daily progress to foreman
● Identify ways to improve efficiency
D. Quality
● Accurate and reliable with the quality of work results
● Ensures job scope was completed
● Ensures proper installation techniques were used
E. Client Interface
● Communicate effectively with the client
F. Administration
● Require written authorization for change orders
● Obtain written sign offs from clients on all jobs

· NFPA 86, NFPA 70E, and AMS 2750E
· MS Office

· Read Electrical Plans and Blueprints
Physical Requirements
● Respirator Fit Testing
● Activities often require considerable use and coordination of the arms, hands, fingers, and legs, such as in the physical handling of equipment and or materials
● Must be able to move or handle materials generally weighing up to 50 pounds if needed
● Requires stamina to physical exertion over long periods of time
● Must be able to move or handle equipment and materials generally weighing up to 100 pounds
● Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug screen and subject to random Drug Testing upon hire– Onex is a Drug Free workplace due to the safety sensitive nature of our work
● Wear PPE in field environment
Qualifications
● Electrician Diploma or equivalent certification
● 5 years relevant experience - preferred
● OSHA 10 Hour Training – training provided
● Valid US Driver’s License
Work Environment
· Travel 75% of the time

Compensation details: 28-31 Hourly Wage
