As the Brand Manager, you will have opportunity to work on a dynamic range of projects enabling strong exposure and career development, driving business results for our KAY banner across Bridal, Fashion and Watch categories. You will engage with multi-disciplinary teams (including External Agency partners, Designer Partnerships, Operations, and Merchandising) to develop top strategies for our brand's success.
You will lead a mix of Marketing and Brand Management projects enabling you to show the breadth and depth of your leadership. You will need to derive insights from the data, which will enable brand leaders as they set the direction for brand growth. **This position has the possibility of being remote if candidate is outside of the Akron, OH or Dallas, TX office area**
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and execute strategic, 360⁰ marketing plans to support the banner, key programs and product launches, ensuring differentiation between banners
- Provide messaging direction on banner brand and product initiatives, as well as review and provide creative direction
- Lead the development of project briefs, and downloading of cross-functional team members and agencies
- Work closely with the Merchandising team to ensure product and marketing strategies and messaging align
- Establish and maintain target consumer expertise, and identify key learnings to inform banner brand strategy, product messaging and tactics.
- Identify business and marketing opportunities by proactively engaging with internal and external data sources
- Driver of Holistic, Integrating Marketing Planning and Project Management
- Liaison and partner with all internal and external partners, including but not limited to merchandising, MP&I, Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, Marketing Operations, Creative, Market Research, etc.
- Engage key cross-function teams throughout each initiative planning process to ensure alignment across the business
- Work with external agencies and internal partners to ensure timelines and deliverables are met, with key milestone check-ins
- Manage marketing budget
- Management of key partner/designer relationships
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
- Required Job-Related Experience: 5+ years in Brand Marketing with Retail industry experience a must
- Technical Skills Required: Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Additional Skills Required:
- Demonstrated experience managing across the full marketing mix – with experience leading and managing campaigns that span paid and organic digital and social channels
- Proven ability to develop sound brand and product strategy recommendations that turn into decisions
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities
- Exceptional collaborator, cross-functionally and within own team

The salary range for this opportunity is $90,000-109,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
