- Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Board Certification by ABFM or AOBFM
- Valid Georgia State Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Current D.E.A. Certificate
- No restriction from participation with Medicaid and/or Medicare programs
- Ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans and covered by CRMC malpractice liability carrier
- Preferred Qualifications:
- FQHC/CHC experience
- Prior teaching experience
- Experience working with medically underserved populations
- Experience with EMR (specifically, Meditech)
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care.
- Assess patient's health status, manage comprehensive medical care, and advise patients on preventative measures.
- Precept residents in the clinic, maintain accountability for assigned resident attestation notes, and provide oversight in patient appointments.
- Teach and train resident physicians and medical students in Family Medicine.
- Evaluate residents using competency-based/milestone evaluations and act as an advisor for assigned residents.
- Assist in developing and delivering an engaging learning curriculum and environment.
- Participate in faculty development activities, faculty meetings, and program committees.
- Serve on committees, including the Program Evaluation Committee, Clinical Competency Committee, and others as required.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Board Certification by ABFM or AOBFM
- Valid Georgia State Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Current D.E.A. Certificate
- No restriction from participation with Medicaid and/or Medicare programs
- Preferred: FQHC/CHC experience, prior teaching experience, experience working with medically underserved populations, experience with Meditech EMR, bilingual in Spanish/English.
