- Job Title: Technical Designer
- Job Summary: The Technical Designer role at The Pokémon Company International will work on the release and development pipeline for multiple products to ensure rapid and stable development. This role will work across development groups to develop automation, tooling and continuous integration processes that will support the life of our products from pre-production to post launch content. These live products will be maintained post launch through multiple content releases which requires multiple tools and resources and a tight collaboration across disciplines.

What you’ll do
- Help lead initiatives that will support day to day development within live content areas.
- Define and improve existing client tools used in development.
- Develop tools and other resources to aid in streamlining our release and development processes.
- Work across disciplines to develop tools that promote stability.
- Work closely across teams to integrate with other build systems and coordinate releases processes and development workflows.
- Define and improve the continuous integration pipeline.
- Define and investigate where automation and testing frameworks can improve the development pipeline.
- Design and develop gameplay mechanics through scripting.
What you’ll bring
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of professional game development experience or a demonstrative equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency with Unity.
- Pokémon TCG knowledge is a plus.
- Exceptional work ethic and passion for growth.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and present multiple solutions.
- Ability to context switch and adapt with relative ease.
- Effective communication skills, especially within teams and with technical information.
- Ability to accurately identify and navigate risks through the product planning process.
- Experience with creating and supporting Unity Editor tools.
- Experience working with Perforce/version control.
- Experience with live and content supported projects.

- Base salary range: For this role, new hires generally start between $125,000.00 - $148,200.00. The full range is $125,000.00 - $187,000.00. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
