Roundhouse is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting senior investment professionals in the acquisition, asset management, and disposition of real estate assets, conducting financial analysis, and preparing investment materials. This position will report to the Vice President of Investments and is located in Boise, Idaho.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation across acquisitions, developments, and portfolio management.
- Presentation Preparation: Prepare detailed investment memoranda, asset management reports, and marketing materials. Ensure all materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with investment objectives.
- Transaction Support: Assist in the execution of property acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. Participate in due diligence, drafting of transaction documents, and coordination with internal and external parties. Support the development team on assignments related to entitlements, project design & budgeting, construction management, leasing & marketing.
- Research: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to support investment decisions and asset management strategies. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate sector.
- Client Interaction: Support senior investment professionals in investor meetings and calls. Provide timely and effective responses to investor inquiries and requests.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with executives and team members across various functions, including accounting, operations, and asset management, to ensure seamless execution of transactions and asset management plans.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience (including relevant internships) in real estate private equity, investment banking, real estate finance, or a related field. Recent college graduates with exceptional internship experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Familiarity with real estate databases (CoStar, RealPage) is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to innovate and think creatively.
- Self-starter working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
- Travel up to 20% of the time.
