Why Does Your Role Matter?
The primary responsibility of the Financial Analyst - Supply Chain Operations is to support our Supply Chain operations. This role will be instrumental in driving financial planning, analysis, and support for various supply chain functions including Demand Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehousing. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of financial principles, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. This position will report to the Director of Finance.
Essential Functions for this Role:
Provide support to Supply Chain leadership in achieving their objectives in areas such as demand planning, procurement, logistics, etc.
Evaluate and monitor cost structures within supply chain operations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize supply chain costs and improve profitability.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for supply chain departments.
Monitor and report on budget performance, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement for supply chain departments.
Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure consistent financial practices and reporting across the organization.
Become a power user of various technologies within the Finance, Accounting and Supply Chain technology stack
Support month-end activities related to the supply chain function activities such as supplier purchase order deposits, logistics & supply chain accruals
Other duties as assigned & required
Ideal Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration
1-3 years of accounting and/or financial planning & analysis experience
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
Strong ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and other departments
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software

Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The team member frequently communicates with internal team members, investors and vendors. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer. Occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.
