Job Summary:
The In-House Calibration Technician role is pivotal in ensuring the precision and efficacy of our calibration services for temperature, humidity, pressure, and O2 sensors, catering specifically to the stringent standards of the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-house calibration of various sensors including temperature, humidity, pressure, and O2 sensors.
- Maintain and adhere to calibration standards and specifications to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Document all calibration procedures and results in a meticulous manner, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date for audits.
- Diagnose and rectify issues with calibration equipment and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve calibration methods and usage of instrumentation.
- Manage the calibration schedule to ensure all equipment and instruments are calibrated within required timelines.
Job Requirements and Experiences:- Technical degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a calibration role, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of calibration principles and technical proficiency with various calibration instruments.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a regulated environment, with a deep understanding of FDA regulations and ISO standards.
Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
